I-90 Speedway set to open in May The racing community of the Sioux Falls area has something to cheer about. I-90 Speedway, near Hartford, South Dakota, will reopen in 2019 under new management. While Lyle and Dawn Howey continue to own the facility, Rod “Hot Rod” Pattison will serve as general manager of the track. The event was to feature the Property Solutions of America Midwest Sprint Touring Series and the Paramount Racing Series. The Property Solutions of America Midwest Sprint Touring Series will compete this Saturday at I-90 Speedway. The addition of this event is in response to last week’s rainout. The Saturday show is also the track’s annual Hobby Stock Nationals – paying a larger purse and featuring a draw, passing points lineup scheme. Adult tickets are $15; ages 13-18 are $10; 12 and younger are free; pit passes are $32 – with $2 from each pass going to Med-Star Dirt Track Race Rescue.

The Property Solutions of America Midwest Sprint Touring Series will tackle the most exciting dirt ovals of the Upper Midwest with a 25-night schedule across six tracks in four states on the 2020 schedule. Travis Schreurs took the lead just after the halfway point in Wednesday’s race from the virtual Knoxville Raceway. The event started the 10-race series for the SoDak iRacing League presented by Jordan Opdahl Construction. All ten events will be broadcast live on the Advantage Racing TV Facebook page. Jack Dover picked up where he left off in 2019 by picking up the Property Solutions of America Midwest Sprint Touring Series feature event at I-90 Speedway.
