Midwest Sprint Touring Series
MSTS Race Day – Jackson / Saturday – Park Jeff!
The Property Solutions of America Midwest Sprint Touring Series is back in action at Jackson Motorplex tonight for the start of a double-header weekend.
Justin Henderson picked up his second careers MSTS win last Friday at Jackson Motorplex and his first with MSTS since going to victory lane at Huset’s Speedway in July 2016. Dominic Scelzi, Thomas Kennedy, Jack Dover and Ryan Bickett have all also taken a checkered flag under the MSTS banner at Jackson Motorplex in 2018.
Saturday, the best of the Midwest travel to Park Jefferson Speedway for the final time in 2018. Joined by the Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprint Series, the River City Rumble also features the United State Modified Touring Series.
2015 MSTS champion Eric Lutz opened the 2018 campaign with a $10,000 win at Park Jeff. Dover, who won the most recent MSTS and Nebraska 360 event at Off Road Speedway, has also been to the winner’s circle at Park Jefferson this season. Saturday’s event is also the Dave Mulder Memorial for USRA Ironman Stock Cars and B-Modifieds.
Friday’s event at Jackson is scheduled to start with hot laps at 7:30. Park Jefferson’s event begins with hot laps at 6:30.
