Dover Sweeps MSTS Weekend with I-90 win

Jack Dover raced from seventh on the starting grid to the lead of Saturday’s feature in nine laps. He’d stay out from there to get the win – the 22nd of his Property Solutions of America MSTS career.

Before Dover claimed the lead, Tommy Barber charged to the top spot on lap three. Lee Goos, Jr., led the opening three circuits.

At the finish, it was Dover ahead of Barber. Eric Lutz made his way to third ahead of Brodie Tulloch and Goos. Ryan Bickett was the hard charger.

MSTS is back in action next Saturday at Park Jefferson Speedway.

John Lambertz won the Justice Fire & Safety IMCA Sprint Car feature after a weight violation was found in post-race inspection. Jesse Lindberg, Casey Abbas, Elliot Amdahl, and Ryan Voss.

Craig Hanisch won the hotly contested T&R Contracting Late Model Street Stock feature ahead of Travis Schreurs. Last week’s winner, Brylee Gough, charged from 12th to take third. Cory Yeigh, who battled for the lead earlier, placed fourth ahead of Zach Olivier.

Tyler Johnson moved forward seven positions to take the win just ahead of Brock Hess in the Great Western Bank USRA B-Modifieds. Tyler Tesch was third with Kole Nordquist and Camden Myers completing the top five.

The Lawn & Snow Company USRA Hobby Stock feature was won by Dustin Gulbrandson. Eric Stanton pulled a slide job on Gulbrandson on the white flag lap but couldn’t hold the lead and took second. Tyler Schlumbohm, Tracy Halouska and Nick Janssen finished in the top five.

I-90 Speedway is off on July 13 before returning on July 20 with the Property Solution of America MSTS.
