Rosenboom rockets to Wagner Speedway MSTS win
On a blistering fast race track, Jody Rosenboom would take top honors with the Property Solutions of America Midwest Sprint Touring Series Friday night at Wagner speedway.
Rosenboom led the opening lap of the feature event, but it was Gregg Bakker pressuring the race leader. Bakker was ripping the top side of the track and moved into the lead on lap three. Rosenboom countered and moved back to the lead with a move off turn four on the following lap.
Rosenboom would go on to the win from there, but it was wild behind him. Elliot Amdahl charged from fifth to take second in a feisty battle with Eric Lutz. Right behind them, Brant O’Banion was also coming to the mix and crossed fourth. Fifth went to Bakker.
The night started rough for Ryan Bickett when the 17B needed an engine change following practice. The night ended with a better note as Bickett claimed the AutoLand Hard Charger award.
