Dover crowned Buffalo Wild Wings King of Wings

Jack Dover topped the 2025 Buffalo Wild Wings King of Wings series and pocketed a bonus $2,500 for his efforts. The four-day series put the Cressman Sanitation Midwest Sprint Touring Series against the Buffalo Wild Wings Northern Outlaw Sprint Association. Mark Dobmeier, Weston Olson and Andy Pake claimed victories across the four nights of action.

The weekend started with Dobmeier’s win at Norman County Raceway. The Grand Forks driver started third in the event. The Buffalo Wild Wings #13 moved into second on lap six and was out front at lap nine. Christopher Thram and Jack Dover completed the podium.

Friday was action packed. When the originally scheduled event at River Cities Speedway was canceled because of rain, Buffalo Wild Wings, MSTS and NOSA got together and planned an impromptu event at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo. Olson jumped to the original lead of the feature event and held off Pake for the victory. Pake charged to second from seventh on the original grid while Jade Hastings took home third after starting sixth.

The Buffalo Wild Wings King of Wings series was back at Red River Valley on Saturday night where Pake finished one position better than the previous night of action. Dover kept him honest in the closing stages keeping the lead at about a half second. Olson finished behind Dover in third.

The finale of the series brought teams to Buffalo River Speedway. Olson returned to victory lane after taking the lead from Brooke Tatnell on lap 19 of the 30-lap feature. Dover was second and Dobmeier was the A Plus Towing & Repair Hard Charger taking third after starting in position 13.

In addition to the four-day point fund paid by Buffalo Wild Wings, MSTS member teams pocketed more than $2,000 on the weekend in bonuses paid for heat races, hard charger, hard luck, random draws and tow money.

The Cressman Sanitation Midwest Sprint Touring Series continues its hot streak of racing with events Tuesday at Rapid Speedway and Thursday and Friday at Jackson Motorplex.
